Trip Overview

The eighth grade fall trip is a five-day leadership, cultural, service and camping trip to the Cochiti Pueblo west of Santa Fe in partnership with the World Leadership School. The dates are October 6th through the 10th. This will be the third year for St. Mary's Academy to visit with this Native American community. Students will engage in service alongside of local students, learn from artists, explore their leadership styles and participate in hands-on science lessons. Similar to the Diamond Tail experience, team-building games and activities are planned to deepen students' relationships with eighth-grade teachers and each other.
