Day 1 – Monday, October 6

·    6:30 a.m. travelers meet at SMA
·    7:00 a.m. departure from SMA
·    Sack lunch on bus en route
·    Mid-afternoon arrival at Cochiti Lake Campground
·    Camp set-up after Full-Group meeting
·    Activity rotations, ranger welcome and/or hike to lookout point TBD
·    4:30 p.m. hearty snack and Safety and Limits
·    5:00-6:00 p.m. Color Groups Evening Rotation
o  Red: Jewelry (campsite)
o  Yellow: Fry Bread/Walking Tour (Pueblo)
o  Blue: Drums (Wayne’s)
o  Green: Storyteller Figurines (campsite)
·    6:30 p.m. – Dinner prep by Martha/Jason/Andy (3 students help set up)
·    Students wash own dishes and 3 students clean pans and serving ware under supervision by Ana
·    Color-Groups 10-minute reflection (aloud and journaling)
Red-Susan; Yellow 2-Geoff; Blue-Martha; Green-Jason
·    9:30 p.m. Lights out and quiet  

Day 2 – Tuesday, October 7th

·    6:30 a.m. early wake up
·    Simple breakfast prep by Martha/Jason/Zac
·    Students wash own dishes and 3 students clean pans and serving ware under supervision by Anna
·    Trash gather and run by Geoff and 3 students
·    Full-Group meeting with Mrs. Rosborough (Pack snacks, water, sunscreen, hat, rain gear, layer, journal, pencils and work gloves)
·    Tent Rock Ecology Exploration in Arachnid Groups
Zac & Geoff shuttle to TR (leave keys at hut) and Andy and Martha shuttle back from TR
o  Pikas depart first led by Kathy/Andy/Martha
o  Coyotes depart second led by Susan/Ana/Michael
o  Owls depart third led by Geoff/Zac/Anna
·    Late lunch prepared by Jason/Michael  (3 students help set up)
·    Students wash own dishes and 3 students clean pans and serving ware under supervision by Kathy
·    Afternoon Arachnid Groups Rotation
o  Pikas:  Project at Cochiti Elementary School
o  Coyotes:  WLS Leadership Curriculum
o  Owls:  Lake Cleanup

·    Full-Group meeting (Pack snacks, water, sunscreen, hat, journal, pencils, rain gear and cash for lunch)
·    9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Travel to Santa Fe to visit to Loretto Chapel, Cathedral, Santa Fe Indian School, Palace of the Governors and Museum (lunch in Santa Fe in small groups)
·    4:30 p.m. hearty snack
·    5:00-6:00 p.m. Color Groups Evening Rotation
o  Blue: Jewelry (campsite)
o  Green: Fry Bread/Walking Tour (Pueblo)
o  Red: Drums (Wayne’s)
o  Yellow: Storyteller Figurines (campsite)

·    Trash gather and run by Geoff and 3 students
·    Full-Group meeting (Pack snacks, water, sunscreen, hat, journal, pencils, rain gear and cash for lunch)
·    Morning Arachnid Groups Rotation
o  Owls:  Project at Cochiti Elementary School
o  Pikas:  WLS Leadership Curriculum
o  Coyotes:  Lake Cleanup
·    Lunch prepared by Martha/Jason/Andy
·    Students wash own dishes and 3 students clean pans and serving ware under supervision by Ana

Day 5Friday, October 10th

·    7:00 a.m. Wake up, campers pack bags (place big ones near road and keep carry on separate) and sweep and wipe out tents. When inspected and approved by the following teachers, enjoy breakfast. Leave tents up until instructed on dismantling and packing techniques. Eat Breakfast first!
